POSSIBILITIES FOR 2027 AND BEYOND

One foundation. Many ways to play.

The first trial can become the starting point for several smaller events—each with its own personality, audience, and style of golf.

A DELIBERATE NEXT STEP

Test first. Listen carefully. Build the right events.

No 2027 dates or formats are promised yet. The November trial sessions will help determine which ideas deserve to move forward and what each event needs to succeed.

POSSIBLE EVENT STYLES

Different challenges for different golfers.

FAMILY

Parent & Child

A shared-score version that lets an adult and junior work together through the stations.

CREATIVITY

Three-Club Challenge

Players choose only three clubs, then rely on imagination and shot-making throughout the event.

FULL COURSE

Regular-Course Skills

The station format can move to a regulation golf course and include a Straightest Drive challenge.

PROGRAMS

School & Team Events

A flexible version for school teams, junior programs, and groups seeking a different kind of competition.

JUST FOR FUN

All Sports Challenge

A playful competition using equipment from other sports instead of golf clubs—including a hockey-stick Closest to the Pin. The best moments and highlights can be featured on the 3Fairways website.

A LARGER VERSION

Taking the challenge onto a regulation course.

The core format does not have to stay on the Academy Course, range, and putting green. A future event could use selected holes on a regulation course while adding a Straightest Drive category.

NEW SKILLSTRAIGHTESTDRIVE

Accuracy from the tee—not simply distance.

MULTIPLE EVENTS

A small calendar could serve more golfers.

Different groups

Junior divisions, families, school teams, and community golfers do not all need the same event.

Different styles

Traditional scoring, limited clubs, team play, and skills stations can keep the experience fresh.

The same standard

Every event should remain organized, understandable, encouraging, and enjoyable.

HELP SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT
